Tutorial
From a fresh Minecraft install to launching Krypton on DonutSMP. Takes about 5 minutes.
Open the official Minecraft Launcher, click Installations → New Installation, pick version 1.21.11 (Release), then launch it once so the version files are generated.
Get MinecraftHead to the official Fabric site and grab the installer. Run it, select Minecraft version 1.21.11, Loader version latest, then click Install. A new profile named 'fabric-loader-1.21.11' will appear in your launcher.
Download Fabric LoaderOpen the folder where Minecraft stores your mods. If it doesn't exist yet, create a folder named 'mods' inside your .minecraft directory.
Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods Linux: ~/.minecraft/mods
Fabric API is the core library every Fabric mod depends on. Download the 1.21.11 build and drop the .jar file into your mods folder.
Get Fabric APICloth Config powers Krypton's in-game settings menu. Download the Fabric 1.21.11 build and place it in your mods folder alongside Fabric API.
Get Cloth ConfigSome of Krypton's modules are written in Kotlin, so this runtime is required. Grab the latest 1.21.11 build and drop it in your mods folder.
Get Fabric Language KotlinNow grab the Krypton client itself and add it to the same mods folder.
Download Krypton.jarIn the Minecraft Launcher, open the Installations tab and click Play on 'fabric-loader-1.21.11'. Wait for the game to load — Krypton will inject automatically.
